For many Ukrainians, Poland has become the most familiar starting point in Europe. It is close, adaptation is usually easier, and many employers already have experience working with Ukrainian candidates. That reduces some of the stress. But it does not remove the need to check the conditions carefully.
Jobs in Poland are available in many sectors: warehouses, factories, food production, logistics, construction, hotels, cleaning, and seasonal work. It is often possible to start without a narrow qualification, especially if the candidate is ready for shift work.

From 1 January 2026, the minimum wage in Poland is 4806 zł gross per month for an employment contract. The minimum hourly rate for certain civil law contracts is 31.40 zł gross per hour. This is the lower reference point; actual pay depends on the position, region, shift, experience, and employer.
Shift work is common. Factories and warehouses may offer day, evening, and night shifts. During busy periods or at large companies, extra hours may be available, but overtime pay should be clarified in advance.

There are many job offers in Poland, and that is exactly why it is easy to get lost. A vacancy with a higher rate is not always better after deductions for housing, transport, or additional services.
